Winter 2012Group Lessons Please look below for explanation of class levels WEEKLY CLASSES Wednesdays All Classes taught by Amanda Showell Cook Jan 4th – Jan 25th 7:00 Foxtrot level 2 8:00 Cha-cha level 1 JUST ANNOUNCED!! FEB 1ST INTERMEDIATE LEVEL ARGENTINE TANGO WORKSHOP 7- 9PM TAUGHT BY AMANDA Please note you will need to have taken argentine tango before to attend this class. Cost of workshop $25.00 Feb. 8th – Feb 29th (snow date 3/7) 7:00 American Tango level 1 8:00 Cha-cha level 2 March 14th – April 4th 7:00 Salsa level 1 8:00 American Tango level2 April 11th – May 2nd 7:00 Salsa level 2 8:00 Argentine Tango level 3 (must have prior experience in Argentine Tango to take this class) May 9th – May 30th 7:00 Samba level 1 8:00 Argentine Tango level 3 continue (must have prior experience in Argentine Tango to take this class) Group lesson Cost: $55.00 non members / $50.00 members of QACAC This cost is per person. Group lessons are 50 minutes long Please call Queen Anne County Arts Council at 410-758-2520 to register Sign up deadline is the Wednesday before the class start GROUP CLASS LEVELS: Basic Beginner - This class is for the student who has never danced or taken this dance before. Will start from the basic steps. Beginner Level 1- This class is a continuation of Basic Beginners, a few new steps will be added but a review of everything done in basic beginners will be given. A great way to continue a dance you really like Beginner Level 2: A slightly more advanced class. You must know the basics of the dance or have attended Beginner level 1 before attending this class. Level 3 : This is an advanced class. You must have taken level 2 group lesson or have prior approval by Amanda to take this class. Private lessons are available in Centreville as well. Please call Amanda at 410- 482- 6169 for available times If necessary we will rotate partners in group classes. If you are uncomfortable with this policy, feel free to talk with me about taking private lessons instead of group classes Inclement weather: In case of inclement weather or snow please call the QACAC 410-758-2520.
